Former lighthouse Goedereede in June 2004. In the year 1552 the top of the church tower which was built in the years 1467 till 1512 was broken off and since then a coal fire was lit in the winter months. 1834 the first permanent light was lit. 1912 the light at the tower was put out. An expedient light was at the tower even till 1924.
