Lighthouse Kalsoy in June 2008. The ferry route to Iceland leeds through the small channel between the
islands of Kalsoy and Kunoy, two of the so called Northern Isles of the Faroe Islands. The lighthouse is
located near in the middle of the island of Kalsoy. This island can only be reached by ferry from Klaksvik.
Klaksvik at the island of Borðoy is connected with Eysturoy, one of the main islands of the Faroes, by a
subsea tunnel.
