Lighthouse Holtenauer Schleusen South side (Scheerhafen North pier) in March 2004. On this side of the sluice into the
Nord-Ostsee-Kanal is also a look-out point. By our visit in August 2001 we saw from here the
"MS EUROPA" coming in, one of the modernst luxus liner world-wide. At the northern side
stands the well known lighthouse Holtenau North.
The lower picture was taken during the ferry crossing from Kiel to Oslo in September 2006.
