Front light Osterende in May 2002. Together with the rear light Osterende, which stands about one kilometre away, it leads the ships upstream into direction Hamburg. The black-white tower stands directly at the outlet of the cooling water of the nuclear power station Brokdorf. It seems to be a popular place of "radiating" anglers.
