Front light Blankenese in May 2002. There is a distance to the rear range of 1,5 kilometres. Both towers together are a leading line towards two directions. They were built in the same style, they only differ in the colour of the head. The red head of the rear range contrasts with the sky, the white one of the front range contrasts with the green of the surrounding hills.
