Old lighthouse Ulvesund in September 2006. In the building is a cafe, which is opened in summer every day.
In the rest of the time from Easter till October it is opened only at sundays. In summer exhibitions and cultural events are taking place.
Overnight stays are possible all year round.
By finding a good position to take a photo of the old and the new front light we discovered,
that there is also a third lighthouse, the rear light in the neighborhood. In the lower picture all three lighthouses are visible.
The Ulvesund separates Vågsøy island from the mainland where the Ulvesund lights stand. The pictures were taken
from the island, where three lighthouses are located:
Kråkenes Fyr in the northwest, Skongenes Fyr in the northeast
and Hendanes Fyr in the southwest.
