starboard pier light Sassnitz

"Starbord"-pier light Sassnitz in October 2001 in the light of the rising autumn sun. It stands on the tip of the east pier, which is 1500 metres long. The port is still important only for a few sightseeing ships and small fishing-boats. The great ferries come and go to the new ferry port Mukran some kilometres to the south. It's green pier light is visible from here.
