Old lighthouse Marienleuchte on the island of Fehmarn in February 2001, the oldest
lighthouse of Fehmarn. This historical building is unfortunately falling down. It was named
after the Danish Queen Maria Sophie Friederike of Denmark who inaugurated personally the
lighthouse on her birthday at October 28th 1832.
To the right in the background the new lighthouse is visible.
The old lighthouse Marienleuchte in December 2009. Unfortunately nobody was found to restore the old nice building.
